Prof. Dr. Rommy von Bernhardi

Prof. von Bernhardi obtained her doctor in Biological Sciences at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 1993. She is also a qualified physician. Her current research project deal with the age-related changes in the regulation of neuroinflammation and its relevance for neurodegenerative diseases. Another research focus lies on microglial dysregulation and their impact on neuronal functionality and Alzheimer’s Disease.
